World Language Exchange

World Language Exchange is offering an immersive program based upon the very best methods and materials available. If you are a highly motivated student with a goal to gain proficiency and fluency in another language, World Language Exchange is the place for you. Read what students are saying about us. Enroll now! For additional questions contact Shaul Praver at 203-209-4662 or e-mail him.

Our students are motivated because they are pursuing professional advancement, enrichment of their ethnic identity, travel abroad, personal relationships and a desire to make their lives more interesting.

World Language Exchange is a Language Company based in the Greater Bridgeport area. Our classes are affordable starting at just $10. per classroom hour. Classes take place either in person or online. We often partner with houses of worship raising needed funds for the community. World Language Exchange is a non profit organization. We design classes with YOU in mind! Whether you enroll in a traditional class or an online class, with a few noted exceptions, this is what you can expect:

Step One:

Shaul Praver, World Language Exchange's president, will call you on the telephone and welcome you to the program. If your class is online, Shaul will than meet you in the online classroom and show you how to log into a meeting, write on the whiteboard, adjust your mic/headphone levels and share your desk top.

Step Two:

You will receive a telephone call from your teacher welcoming you to your class. If you are enrolled in an online class, your teacher will send you an invitation to meet in the online classroom. After you log in, your teacher will interview you to evaluate your reading, writing, speaking and comprehension abilities in your target language. From this information, your teacher will be able to place you in an appropriate classroom. The same interview and evaluation will be done in person for those opting for traditional classrooms.

Step Three:

You will receive via US mail your course materials. This will include your text book, an Mp3 player loaded with 15 hours of the Pimsleur audio program, passwords and links to native Television shows in your target language, and a headphone/mic set if your class is online. Once you have completed these three easy steps your class will begin! Be prepared to devote one hour a day to language study. If you have further questions or wish to consult with World Language President Shaul Praver, contact him at: 203-209-4662 or e-mail.
