Immersion is the way to success
World Language Exchange brings a whole world of language immersion to each and every student, via Four powerful activities: 1) Classes with top notch teachers 2) Social chat with native speakers 3) Self study with best audio-visual products 4) Television programs in target language
Classes with top notch teachers Your most important educational resource is your teacher and classroom. Classes meet at set times during the day, and there is a great deal of flexibility as to when students can attend class across several time zones.
Social chat with native speakers
Language is a social activity. It is not enough to have grammar in your head or to interact with digital files alone. A serious student must engage in conversation with real live people who speak your target language fluently. World Language Exchange helps students set up their academic schedules and matches them up with their social chat partners.
Self Study with best audio-visual products
We include in our classroom materials leading self study products. For example, when our students are in transit, exercising or doing daily chores, they are often found listening to the Pimsleur audio program This and several other products such as Rosetta Stone and Brain Grow are important components of our immersion program.
Television programs in target language World Language Exchange presents students with television and local media from the country of the target language. These links are loaded into the language rooms on this site. Click on “Languages” and after registration you will have access to these Television programs online. These programs will provide you important exposure to rapid native articulation. At first you will understand very little. Eventually however, you will begin to find these programs to be more and more intelligible.
